Community Policing Bureau

The Community Policing Bureau consists of the Department's DARE and School Resource Officers.  Officers assigned to this Division are responsible for maintaining a presence in all of the Borough's schools, teaching DARE and GREAT classes.  Additionally, Community Policing officers attend Senior and AARP meetings, conduct Crime Prevention initiatives and all community based events such as Safe Night Out and National Night Out.  Members of the Community Policing Division also oversee the administration of Project Lifesaver, the Police Baseball Card program, Neighborhood Watch and the newly formulated Coffee with a Cop initiative.
