Reports to the Public
The Records Division is open from 8am to 4pm, Monday thru Friday. To obtain a report call our Records Division at 973-377-2200 or Fax your request to 973-377-9118. Reports take approximately seven days before they become available. Report Form Request (print pdf file and fax to number above).

Fee Schedule
All reports are $.75 per page if picked up in person or $5 if mailed.

Discovery Request
All Discovery request are made to our Patrol Division Lieutenant. Once the fee is paid the Discovery reports will be mailed. These requests are to be made in writing.

Support Services Overview

The Support Services Division is an administrative assignment within the police department. There are many duties:

  • Prepare reports for disbursement
  • Maintenance of all records
  • Domestic Violence Liaison
  • Establish and maintain a record system for all N.C.I.C. alarms, periodic clarification checks and purge of system
  • Distribution of bulletins, Wanted Posters, Flyers
  • Proper Maintenance, record keeping, and proper filling and storage of all required documents in accordance with the New Jersey State Police mandates
  • Liaison officer with the State Police for reports and correspondence concerning the operation, operators, records and equipment used by this department and the Terminal Agency Coordinator (T.A.C. Officer).
  • Coordinate and assure the proper training in the use of equipment and record keeping methods
  • Be responsible for all monthly and yearly U.C.R. reports and other related annual reports to the local, county, state and federal agencies.
